Anneke Outred

Anneke (pronounced A-ni-ka) is a registered Psychologist working in Footscray, Melbourne Australia. She provides face-to-face and online counselling.

For Anneke, becoming a psychologist was a culmination of life experiences. These included a unique upbringing on a remote Indigenous community in the Northern Territory; academic study in the fields of psychology and international relations; a professional career as a diplomat and humanitarian aid worker; and experience living abroad as an expatriate.

Anneke has always sought out opportunities to develop knowledge about the world, and cultivated a deep interest in people and their wellbeing. Working as a Psychologist developed as a natural progression.

Anneke has experience in public and private settings and has provided volunteer support for not for profit agencies.

Anneke provides a safe and confidential space, she is LGBTQIA+ friendly, and has experience working with Australian First Nations people.
