Face to Face and Online Psychological Therapy and Counselling

For individuals 12 years and older.

I provide psychological therapy for people who are struggling with any aspect of their lives. I commonly assist people who feel sad and lonely, nervous and anxious, have work or life related stress, concerns in their relationships, or those wishing to gain personal insight.

My therapeutic style depends on what you present and how you like to work. It could include emotion focused therapycognitive behaviour therapyacceptance and commitment therapy, education about how the brain works and its relationship with our body, visualisation or mindfulness work. I like to empower you with the tools to manage your personal situation.

Aidworkers | Expatriates | Journalists | FIFO workers

Supporting people who live and work away from home, in complex environments and workplaces.

I have a particular passion in supporting expatriates, humanitarian aid workers, journalists and Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) staff who live and work away from home. Having worked, studied, and lived internationally, and remotely in Australia, I have first-hand experience of the complexity of these environments. My own experience of conducting work with limited psychosocial support has motivated me to provide support for people working in the field, or during the transition and adjustment upon return.

Video counselling for rural and remote Australia

Supporting people with limited access to psychological services.

As part of the individual counselling process, I have extended my psychological therapy services to people living in rural and remote Australia. This means people living in areas with limited access to a psychologist are able to connect through videolink for therapy sessions. These services may be covered by Medicare rebates. Please contact me for further information if you live remotely and would like support.

Please Note: Outred Psychology does not see people for the purpose of providing reports for court, family services, forensic or medico-legal purposes.
